Naeem has arrived as a legendary Fire-element hero, and he’s already making waves. As a Wizard-class fighter from the Magic Carpet family, Naeem brings a unique combination of mana control, counterattack, and progressive damage—making him a versatile and powerful addition to many team comps. Let’s break down everything you need to know about him!

🧬 Background: Who is Naeem?

Naeem shares a striking resemblance to Neema, leading many to wonder—are they siblings? While that’s still unclear, what’s certain is that Naeem is a hero worth paying attention to.

Belonging to the Magic Carpet family, he gains a special bonus called Flight Momentum:

  • +20% Mana generation
  • +5% chance to dodge
  • A chance to boost all allies’ mana by 5% when Naeem casts his special skill
(this chance increases with 2 or more Magic Carpet heroes in the team)

On top of that, Naeem has an Aether Power: Attack Up, giving him +20% Attack for the first 6 turns of battle. This makes him dangerous right from the start—capable of dishing out damage while staying evasive.

📊 Base Stats, Passives & Mana Speed

Naeem comes with strong base stats, particularly in Attack and HP, making him sturdy and aggressive. He also has 3 powerful passive skills that give him an edge:

1. Stop Mega Minions

At the start of battle, Naeem disables the attack ability of enemy Mega Minions—crippling opponents from families like Garrison Guard and Goblin.

2. Flight Momentum

This boosts his mana generation and dodge chance right away. However, it weakens when he’s hit and builds back up every time he casts his special skill.

3. Mana on Damage Received

For every hit he takes (normal or special), Naeem gains 1% Mana, up to a max of 5% per turn. This helps speed up his special skill, which is useful since his Mana speed is average.

🌀 Naeem’s Special Skill: Countering Hammock

Naeem’s special skill is what makes him truly stand out. Countering Hammock has four powerful effects:

✅ 1. Buff-to-Debuff Conversion

Naeem replaces all positive buffs on the target and nearby enemies (Attack, Defense, Mana Generation) with matching uncleansable debuffs.
Enemies get hit with -20% Attack, Defense, and Mana Gen for 3 turns. Subtle, but incredibly disruptive.

💥 2. Reaper-Type Damage

Naeem deals 325% damage to the target and nearby enemies. This is classified as Reaper damage, and it hits slightly harder than Ysabel’s special.

🔁 3. Counterattack

Naeem and nearby allies counterattack for 150% of the damage received, lasting 4 turns.
This isn’t quite as strong as Costume Elena’s version but still highly effective—especially against high-damage hitters like Ecgtheow.

🏜️ 4. Sand Touch Effect

This effect adds another layer of pain. When Naeem or his allies with this buff are hit, the attacker receives 572 Sand Damage over 4 turns.
It’s a passive punishment that stacks up and can finish off weakened enemies after the counterattack.

Note: Enemies who can bypass counter effects, like Bonzo, can avoid some of this effects.

⚔️ Best Modes & Roles for Naeem

🛡️ Flank or Tank Role

With his high HP and layered defenses, Naeem excels in the Flank or Tank position for both offensive and defensive teams.

❌ Not Ideal for Titans

While powerful, Naeem doesn’t shine in Titan battles, since most Titans don’t use buffs—making his buff-to-debuff ability mostly useless. However, his Reaper damage and Sand Touch still offer minor value.

🧪 Performance in Game Modes

✴️ Ancient Terror Mode

Due to the Insanity effect and his average Mana speed, Naeem becomes risky in this mode. If his powerful skill triggers at the wrong time, it could hurt your own team instead.

🎯 Arrow Barrage Mode

While Naeem has solid HP, using him in attack formation reduces the effectiveness of his counter skill.
For optimal use, place him in defensive formations, where enemies are more likely to hit him and trigger the counterattack.

🏆 Raid Tournaments

Naeem is a strong pick for almost every Raid Tournament format:

  • Rush Attack – Benefits from average Mana speed
  • Buff Booster – Disrupts enemy buffs
  • Bloody Battle – Deals damage over time and punishes hard hitters
  • Air Support – Works well with healing and dragon support

🛡️ Alliance Wars

Great for:

  • Rush War – Average Mana becomes deadly
  • Attack Boost – Shuts down enemy buffs, punishes hits
  • Bloody Battle – Counterattacks and Sand Touch chip away at enemy HP fast

🏅 Final Verdict: Is Naeem Worth It?

Naeem is a well-designed, and well-rounded- hero with a solid balance between offense and defense. His ability to counterattack, deal reaper damage, and weaken enemies makes him a valuable asset—especially in war and raids.

If there are no major changes to his stats or skills during Beta, then without a doubt:

👉 Naeem is a must-have hero.

With an overall combat grade of A, he’s not just flashy—he’s effective.
