A close look at the latest movers, newcomers, and legends in the arena!

Welcome back, summoners! As April 2025 rolls in, we’re seeing a dynamic shift in the Hero Rankings—with fierce newcomers rising through the ranks and some veteran heroes slipping back in the standings. Let’s break down the tier changes across Rising, Contender, and Ultimate heroes and see who’s dominating the battlefield this month.

🌱 Rising Heroes

These are the heroes making waves just outside the top 10. Some are newcomers, others are slipping—but all have serious potential.

15. Regin ⬇️ [Down 3 Ranks – from 12]

  • Role: Dispeller | Firestorm Strike (True Damage) | Buff Blocker
  • Mana Speed: Fast
  • Notes: Regin’s Firestorm Strike and buff-blocking debuff remain threatening, but his value is dropping in a meta where cleanse and status immunity are more common. Despite having Fast Mana Speed, his skill set lacks the layered utility or survivability seen in higher-ranking heroes.

14. Flamehide 🆕 [Novice]

  • Role: Sniper | Mega Minion Summoner | Bleed DoT
  • Mana Speed: Very Fast
  • Notes: Flamehide storms into the list with Very Fast Mana, a high-damage sniper attack, Bleed Damage, and Mega Minion summoning. His ability to apply early pressure and stay active throughout fights makes him a great fit for fast-paced offense strategies.

13. Grovevert ⬇️ [Down 2 Ranks – from 11]

  • Role: Mana Increaser | Mega Fiend Caster | Healing & Mana Debuffer
  • Mana Speed: Fast
  • Notes: Grovevert’s mana-boosting and Mega Fiend generation are solid, but his healing and mana debuffs are often neutralized by the rise of heroes who can cleanse or prevent debuffs entirely. Even with Fast Mana Speed, his impact is slightly dulled in today’s compositions.

12. Hreidmarr 🆕 [Novice]

  • Role: True Damage Dealer | Mana & Buff Stealer
  • Mana Speed: Slow
  • Notes: Hreidmarr’s skillset is built for disruption—true damage, mana steal, and buff stealing. While her Slow Mana Speed limits consistency, her entry shows players are exploring delayed but high-reward strategies, especially in PvE and tankier PvP teams.

11. Armand Moncharmin ⬇️ [Down 6 Ranks – from 5]

  • Role: Damage Dealer | Mega Minion Summoner | Debuffer (Sleep + Mana Block)
  • Mana Speed: Average
  • Notes: Armand’s combination of damage, Mega Minion summoning, and Sleep debuff is powerful, especially when followed by bonus damage and mana block. However, he struggles in the current environment where cleansing skills and mana protection buffs are more prevalent. His Average Mana Speed also puts him at risk against faster heroes.

⚔️ Contender Heroes

These heroes are climbing closer to the top and prove reliable across various lineups.

10. Dularfulr ➡️ [Same Rank]

  • Role: Healer | Firestorm Ward | Status Immunity Buffer
  • Mana Speed: Fast
  • Notes: Dularfulr maintains her position with a dependable support role—healing, Firestorm Ward Buff to reduce incoming Special Skill damage, and status immunity buffs. Her Fast Mana Speed makes her a consistent backline support, though she doesn’t disrupt the meta enough to climb further.

9. Dima ➡️ [Same Rank]

  • Role: Reaper | DEF Debuffer | Mega Minion Summoner | Bleed DoT
  • Mana Speed: Average
  • Notes: Dima’s strength as a Reaper, paired with DEF debuff, Bleed Damage, and Mega Minion summoning, keeps him effective. His Average Mana Speed remains acceptable in today’s tempo, but he faces strong competition from others with similar kits and better utility.

8. Archibald ⬆️ [Up 5 Ranks – from 13]

  • Role: Damage Dealer (Bypasses Minions)| Debuffer (Elemental Defense Down) | Mega Minion Summoner | Bleed DoT
  • Mana Speed: Average
  • Notes: Archibald’s rise is driven by his ability to bypass minions, apply elemental defense down (Nature), and deal Bleed Damage. Combined with Mega Minion summoning at Average Mana Speed, he offers solid value both offensively and defensively—especially in Nature-heavy matchups.

7. Kolya ⬆️ [Up 1 Rank – from 8]

  • Role: Damage Dealer | Dispeller | Mega Minion Summoner | Cleanser
  • Mana Speed: Average
  • Notes: Kolya is one of the most well-rounded heroes in this tier—offering damage, dispelling, cleansing, and Mega Minion summoning. His Average Mana Speed is balanced out by his high versatility, which is highly prized in the current meta.

6. Sludgus ⬆️ [Up 1 Rank – from 7]

  • Role: Healer | Buffer (Dodge + True Damage on Dodge)
  • Mana Speed: Average
  • Notes: Sludgus shines with her healing, dodge buff, and the ability to deal 1600 true damage per successful dodge. Her Average Mana Speed suits her support-disruptor hybrid role, and her presence in evasion-based teams is growing stronger.

👑 Ultimate Heroes

These are the apex predators. If you have them, build around them.

5. Sable ⬆️ [Up 1 Rank – from 6]

  • Role: Full Status Removal | Ghost Form | Reviver | Cleanser
  • Mana Speed: Very Fast
  • Notes: Sable’s complex skillset brings game-changing momentum: she removes all status effects (including undispellables), enters Ghost Form (becoming immune to damage), and upon expiration, she revives a random defeated ally, heals, and cleanses all allies. With Very Fast Mana Speed, her ability to swing fights is unmatched among supports.

4. Rosalind ➡️ [Same Rank]

  • Role: Healer | Stack (Damage Reduction) | Mega Minion Summoner | Cleanser
  • Mana Speed: Fast
  • Notes: Rosalind remains a meta staple with healing, damage reduction stack (-50%), Mega Minion summoning, and team-wide cleansing. Her Fast Mana Speed makes her reliable and efficient, especially in compositions focused on endurance and counter-pressure.

3. Astrid ➡️ [Same Rank]

  • Role: Healer | Reviver | DEF Buffer (Reduce all damage to 1)
  • Mana Speed: Average
  • Notes: Astrid continues to excel with healing, revival, and the powerful DEF Buff that reduces all damage to 1. Her Average Mana Speed is acceptable due to the massive value she provides, particularly when she fires at clutch moments.

2. Bearnadette ➡️ [Same Rank]

  • Role: Dispeller | Damage Dealer | Debuffer (Cursed Paintings)
  • Mana Speed: Very Slow
  • Notes: Bearnadette remains elite thanks to her dispelling, high damage, and unique Cursed Paintings debuff, which can completely alter enemy behavior. Even with Very Slow Mana Speed, her powerful effects are worth building around in the right setups.

1. Fergus ➡️ [Same Rank]

  • Role: Mana Reducer | Debuffer (Mana Generation) | Mega Minion Summoner | Bleed DoT
  • Mana Speed: Slow
  • Notes: Fergus holds the throne with an exceptional combination of mana reduction, mana generation debuff, Mega Minion summoning, and Bleed Damage. Despite being Slow Mana, his skillset allows him to disrupt enemy momentum and become an unshakeable core in many top-tier team builds.

🔎 April Meta Snapshot – Rank Movement Insights

April brought a notable shake-up in the hero landscape, with key promotions and surprising demotions reflecting the current meta’s evolving demands. Here’s what the rank changes tell us:

📉 Major Falls

  • Armand Moncharmin dropped hard from Rank 5 to 11. His sleep-based control seems less effective in today’s faster-paced fights, where cleanse and immunity buffs are more common.
  • Regin and Grovevert also slipped a few spots, showing that basic dispel and debuffing kits are no longer enough unless paired with powerful secondary effects.

🚀 Big Climbers

  • Archibald had the biggest leap this month, jumping from Rank 13 to 8. His ability to bypass minions and Elemental Defense Down (Nature) lines up perfectly with the current meta full of green tank comps and minion walls.
  • Sludgus and Kolya also moved up a spot each, solidifying their value as hybrid support units with cleansing and survivability skills.

New Blood

  • Two Novice entriesFlamehide (Rank 14) and Hreidmarr (Rank 12)—cracked the list for the first time, proving that heroes with burst damage and utility-stealing abilities are finally getting recognized in team builds.

📈 Consistent Top Heroes

  • The Ultimate Tier remains unchanged outside of Sable moving up to Rank 5. Her versatility and game-changing ghost mechanic have made her a clutch pick across high-level PvP and event content.

📊 Hero Rank Status Explained

Returning Warrior
A hero who has appeared on past lists, was absent last month, and is now back in the Top 15.

Black Horse
A complete wildcard—never seen before, but suddenly bursting straight into the Ultimate Heroes category.

The April 2025 update reflects the shifting meta, favoring heroes who bring versatility, survivability, and control effects.
