Welcome back, Paladins!

In this blog, we continue our deep dive into the Empires & Puzzles Beta Version 79.2, where we’re testing even more brand-new heroes. This is Part 2 of our Hero Testing series, and today we’re focusing on two exciting groups: the Construct family and the Liangshan family.

Just like in Part 1, this review covers each hero’s skills, roles, and performance, followed by a practical test in Campaign, Raid, and Titan battles. Let’s find out which of these newcomers could be game-changers in your roster!

🛡️ 1A. Ironvein (Holy Squire Construct)

  • Rarity: Rare
  • Element: Holy
  • Class: Fighter
  • Family: Construct

Ironvein is a balanced Rare hero with solid utility. With skill effects that classify it as a Reaper, Buffer, and Counterattacker, it plays a versatile role in multiple lineups. Backed by average mana generation, Ironvein is a dependable pick for both defensive setups and offensive pushes — ideal for early to mid-game players looking for consistent performance.

🔥 1B. Hotspin (Flame Cyclone Construct)

  • Rarity: Epic
  • Element: Fire
  • Class: Barbarian
  • Family: Construct

Hotspin brings fiery aggression with a mix of Sniper, Buffer, and Reflector capabilities. Despite being an Epic hero, its skill synergy and average mana speed give it the edge in both attack and defense. Hotspin can fit well in raid attacks where burst damage and utility play crucial roles in quickly turning the tide.

❄️ 1C. Glacivolt (Icy Overseer Construct)

  • Rarity: Legendary
  • Element: Ice
  • Class: Cleric
  • Family: Construct

Glacivolt stands out as a top-tier Damage Dealer with powerful Debuffing and DoT (Damage Over Time) capabilities. Its fast mana speed gives it a consistent advantage in rapid-fire engagements, making it a lethal pick for both PvE and PvP. If you’re looking for a high-output hero that can dismantle enemy teams quickly, Glacivolt is definitely one to watch.

✨ 1D. Ironheart (Holy Guardian Construct)

  • Rarity: Legendary
  • Element: Holy
  • Class: Paladin
  • Family: Construct

Ironheart is built like a tank but functions as a well-rounded Reaper, Buffer, and Counterattacker. With average mana speed, it’s reliable in both offensive and defensive strategies. Ironheart doesn’t necessarily dominate with raw damage, but its utility and survivability make it a strong candidate for anchor or mid-line positions in any team formation.

🐯 1E. Wu Song (Tiger-Fighting Hero of Water Margin)

  • Rarity: Legendary
  • Element: Ice
  • Class: Monk
  • Family: Liangshan

Wu Song is one of the standout heroes from the Liangshan family, known for his fast mana generation and a skill set packed with high impact: Dispeller, Buffer, and Reaper. His versatility makes him dangerous in both attack and defense scenarios. Players who love fluid, momentum-shifting battles will appreciate Wu Song’s ability to turn things around swiftly.

⚔️ In-Battle Performance Testing (Campaign, Raid, and Titans)

After evaluating their skill sets, it’s time to see how these heroes actually perform in live combat. All five heroes were tested in Campaign stages, Raid battles, and against Titans.

We pushed them to their limits, observing their strengths, synergy, and real-time value in various team compositions. The results were impressive — particularly from heroes like Glacivolt and Wu Song, who demonstrated strong offensive pressure and tactical flexibility.

Here’s a preview of their testing footage.
