Empires & Puzzles just released the Beta Version 77.1, and it comes packed with new features and exciting content. In this blog post, I’ll walk you through the three main highlights of this update:
- A handy Hero Pinning feature,
- Two brand-new Legendary Troops, and
- A roster of 10 new heroes from four unique families.
Let’s take a closer look at each update and what it means for players.
📌 1. New Feature: Hero Pinning
One of the quality-of-life improvements introduced in Beta V77.1 is the Hero Pinning feature.

This update might seem small, but it’s actually quite handy.
It lets you mark or “pin” your favorite heroes, especially those you’re currently working on or planning to level up soon. If you’ve been playing for a while and have a large collection, this feature can save time by keeping your key heroes at the top of your list. It’s a small quality-of-life improvement, but one that will be useful for many players—especially those who like to stay organized.
⚔️ 2. Legendary Troops – Power Boosts for Your Team
This patch also brings two new Legendary Troops, each designed to enhance specific hero classes and provide valuable bonus effects.
🌳 Enlightened Tree Spirit

- Supports heroes in the Druid and Wizard classes.
- Increases base stats like Attack, Defense, and HP.
- Grants up to +8% extra Defense Buffs received, making defensive strategies even stronger.
🧘♂️ Furious Monk

- Buffs heroes in the Monk and Barbarian classes.
- Boosts basic stats across the board.
- Increases healing effects received by up to 5%, helping your heroes recover faster during tough battles.
Both troop types are expected to be available in multiple elements upon release to the live server. Whether you’re building a strong attack or defense team, these new troops will offer more customization and depth to your overall strategy. Keep an eye on the Troop Exchange or the Legendary Troop Summon Portal—these troops could be game-changers.
👑 3. Meet the 10 New Heroes from 4 Unique Families
The biggest part of this update is the introduction of 10 brand-new heroes, each belonging to one of four new families. Each hero comes with unique designs, abilities, and lore. Here’s a quick overview:
🟢 Slime Family
- Harubo (Rare) – The Patrolling Slime

- Fruitio (Epic) – The Fruit Loving Slime

- Choozen (Epic) – The Shy Chest Slime

These slime heroes have a unique and fun theme. and I Can’t wait to see how they play!
🦊 Fox Family
- Foxglove (Epic) – The Sly Bat-Eared Fox

- Nibbles (Legendary) – The Hungry Fox Kit

- Halcyon (Legendary) – The Sentinel Gray Fox

The Fox family looks promising, especially with two Legendary options.
🎻 Bard Family
- Fiddle (Legendary) – Exceptionally Eager Instrumentalist

- Merith (Legendary) – The Serpentine Violinist

- Dunnar Hart (Legendary) – The Magmatic Drummer

Just like usual, These bard heroes seem to have music-based abilities and unique animations. Very exciting!
🗡️ Legends 2025 Family
- Nerasis (Legendary) – The Quiet Death

A mysterious and powerful character, Nerasis hints at high single-target damage or unique debuffs. This hero will likely appeal to players who enjoy elite-level gameplay.
